An arcade puzzle game with global highscores

An Android-port-in-progress of an arcade puzzle game I made in 2020.The aim is to survive for as many steps as possible. If even one attack from the totem hits you through the ring of barriers, you are af!
Details about the different attacks and powerups can be found by pressing the in-game âšī¸ button.
Every 24 hours, the game gets a new daily seed and daily leaderboard, which can be viewed in-game. Additionally, there is an all-time leaderboard that is shown in-game *and* on the sidebar to the left of this text!

Around step 100 - and then again around step 300, 500, 700, ... - you'll be given a choice between two perks; each provides a permanent benefit for the rest of your run.
Like with totem layers and powerups, seeing a new perk appear will permanently unlock its information in the âšī¸-window.
Whether this is a cool new addition that makes each seed feel a bit more unique, or just feature creep? I'm not sure yet ;)

After about 400 steps, all totem block and powerup variations will have shown up multiple times, and the game starts feeling a bit repetitive. To add some more strategic depth, the new Delete Beam - which starts spawning after 250 steps - *permanently* destroys a barrier every ~50 steps. This means you'll have to make lasting decisions about the layout of the field.
It is now actually difficult to reach 500, which speeds up the game nicely!
